You have an 80V mower that can't do grass more than 1"? Something is seriously wrong. I have the 40V version and if I let it go too long (St Augustine Grass in florida is tough stuff) it bogs down a little but it manages. And it can still self propel over anything. Wet grass makes everything worse, so I try to wait if it rained.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with gas and the mess involved.
My daughter bought a house and the previous owners threw in several items including this model mower, and a similar trimmer and blower.

It has 4ah batteries but I was impressed with its performance. If performs as good as our gas mower.
I will try to get the wife to buy this, since she does the mowing.
I also have the 80V mower from Costco. I use the height setting on 4 and have no problem cutting grass that has grown several inches since the last cutting. I wait for any morning dew to evaporate before mowing as the grass looks nicer when you cut it dry. My speed control is variable. I mulch rather than bag as do most people in this area. I am able to cut the front and back yards on one charge. I think the lighter electric mower does a better cut than the heavier gas mower because the wheels don't mash down the grass as much. I have all my chargers plugged into a timer so charging is done on off-peak rates.

In for it. I would like more power, but a full set with a 21" self-propelled for $360 seems too go to pass up.

I have all 3 of these.

I'm very happy with them, though I need an extra 2 batteries to rotate to to do my entire lawn typically. Do considerer sharpening the blades for improved performance, though not required.

The trimmer and blower are on the weaker end, but the price and electrician is well worth the compromise for my light usages.

Some of the comments about not being able to reach the company are concerning. A warranty is useless if the company is impossible to reach.

Some were on their own website while others were on Costco.

I've had no issues with contacting CS for a snowblower replaced like 3 times. That said, I have the 40v mower and no issues. I have lots of other tools, no issues. Snowblower is junk though. Even when I finally got one that worked, still didn't push show well.

This seems like a great deal though. I would get it if I didn't already have a bunch of 40v tools

I have the 80V mower from Costco and it's not as powerful as my previous gas mower. You can never let the grass grow taller. It's a challenge to cut over 1". Suction and self-propelling is much weaker. I have to push the mower in slopes and thick grass. Bag has to be emptied even when it's only half full. Otherwise, clippings will not be sucked into the bag. Grass need to be totally dry to cut. So you can't cut early in the morning. The speed control on self-propeller is not well designed, either it's too slow or too fast (note: my model is not same as this but supposed to be better!)
It's exciting to use the electric mower initially but after few mowings, I realize how good the gas mower was, though it was noisy and heavy.

I just bought this same mower but uses only 1 battery pack of 40v same price just no extra tools, is it worth returning the 40v and get this?

You'd have to do the math on savings & shipping costs, but personally I'd rather have a single battery unit. Less chargers to deal with and fewer points of failure.
