300 miles is wildly ambitious.

Still a cheap price for a small antenna, but take all those specs with skepticism

recent reviews are 5s or 1s 🤔

anyone have a reputable solid antenna recommendation?

I checked my Amazon history and I've purchased 3 no-names junky ones in the past, all three product pages are now gone 😒

Don't understand how so many sellers still offer these units; in many models, none of which connect to the standard cable used in the US without a special adapter.

On average, they must be paying return shipping at least twice before selling to either a hobbyist who adapts it, or a don't-care buyer who throws it away.

By then, all profit is gone.

300 miles, so if you're in Chicago you'll be able to get stations from Detroit, Columbus, Lexington, St. Louis, Cedar Rapids and more! Sounds legit.

300 miles straight up perhaps, maybe you can eavesdrop on conversations from the International Space Station? Even picking up local towers from 25 miles away is going to be a stretch for a tiny indoor antenna such as this. Larger models that go in your attic don't honestly claim or achieve ranges like 300 miles. This might be good for taking a TV outside of your RV or while tailgating though. Otherwise get a larger and superior antenna for permanent placement in your home.

I really hate these TV antennas that say these crazy reception ranges.

This might have 20 to 30 mile range. That depends terrain, trees, and other things tho.

I have tried some of these small antenna, and they are no better then a paper clip.

I recommend seeking out TV antennaman on YouTube if you're interested in an antenna. Also look into rabbitears.info search map. 300 miles range is absurd, as the curvature of the earth grounds the signal long before 300 miles.
