It's a utility app, not software that needs to be actually installed on your computer, so no need to go through an uninstall after.
I've purchased many different models of Samsung memory from Amazon over the past 5 years. I've never had one counterfeit, but I only purchase "new" and only with Amazon as the Seller.

64 megabyte large SD cards were $150. Now the cheap $23 ones are farking 256gb. I can't wait at this rate in 5 to 10 Years a 1000gb one will be 25$ which means 5 to 10 TB ones for 100 to 200$

As far as the drive goes love it got some heft to it and noticeable faster then most of the flash drives l use. Only con is that is really a snug fit when inserting and removing from usb port.
