You have to wonder when the party will end.
The punch bowl will be taken away at some point.

Saving up for a 8 TB OWC, just need $400 more.

This or the 2TB Team Group MP34 M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe

Found here: https://slickdeals.net/f/16435735-2tb-team-group-mp34-m-2-pcie-3-0-nvme-3d-nand-ssd-internal-solid-s...
After my research on M2 NVME drives the MP34 would be a better drive. It was 80 bucks last week and now 85

It has DRAM and is TLC.

I have my eye on that one as well. If it comes back in stock, I snap it up. I only have a gen 3 board, but i want the endurance. I use my drives super long time.

1TB is getting close to it being full???
Slc cache shrinks as the drive fills, and write amplification increases as empty blocks dwindle.

I get it. On a 2 tb drive though? It would be more than half. I'm on a 2 tb ssd that is more than half full and its fine. I should back it up though. LOL

Yea modern drives are fast enough not to show they are working harder so yea it just depends on your risk tolerance.
