Avoid at all cost.I dont know how amazon acquires these phones. Look like bulk buy from 3rd party vendors. Better buy it from backmarket

if going amazon refurbished make sure to check the seller's feedback and item condition - i bought an iphone 13 mini in excellent condition and it was pretty much brand new 100% battery life.

But as others said, ymmv but worth a shot if a good price and willing to deal with returns

Amazon's "Renewed Premium" Samsung phones are "Certified Re-Newed" from Samsung, with new batteries and a full Samsung warranty IN ADDITION to a one year Amazon return policy. Shame that these don't offer all the same benefits. Seems a bit shady on Amazon's part!

It would be risky alternative. Buy refurb from Apple site if you want peace of mind. People have reported that they cannot activate the sim because the phone was reported stolen. Battery not showing health, most likely because it was serviced by unauthorized technical using not so genuine parts.

Yes, I got a dirty looking phone with 92% battery health. No way it was refurbished. All refurbished phones have new genuine batteries installed. Try if you want to, you can still return it within 30 days after purchase. Maybe you are lucky and get a real refurb unit.

Apple is worst when it comes to right to repair. That has been the biggest problems with Refurb companies. They just cannot use OEM replacement part because each part has to activated/validated by Apple to make it work with the existing hardware. You cannot even swap genuine parts from a dead iPhone because of this process. Each part is tied with Phone hardware.
I really hate Apple for this and would never buy another iphone in future.

Always so much hearsay. I literally just got a renewed iphone 12 mini for $350 and it came with 91% battery health and not a single scratch. Took me 10 minutes to set up through Verizon and all has been well.

an Iphoone 13 refurbed right now from Apple Is $599 and goes in and out of stock; too have a renewed PREMIUM offer at $530 is pretty good IMO.

Its should rather be called as used. 91% battery health is not acceptable at all. H
This means that the phone's battery has gone through at least 500 cycles.
This implies that in the next 9-12 months, you will be prompted to replace the battery.

Some will be as described as I bought a 13 pro from them and it came in beautiful shape and unlocked but the battery health was 90% which is the minimum they guarantee. Took it on a trip and it worked great, though some get a junk phone are not lucky.

It was more expensive but Amazon will give you a 1 year return for functionality or 30 day return for buyers remorse.

*Note: If you return a phone to amazon, it will take up to 30 days to receive a refund. personally its been 30 days for a refund every time for me.

Any pointers on how often it comes back in stock at the Apple refurbished store ?

On a side note - This deal seems to have sold out at Amazon since morning.
