Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I struggle with calluses on the balls of my feet. I bought this a few days ago hoping it would be better than my current file and it arrived today. I would say this is at best a light duty foot file. If you have heavy calluses or want something that will do the job quickly, I would avoid this one. Probably best suited to touching up your feet in a daily/weekly routine. Does not take off much excess callus without A LOT of effort.

Walmart had/has something called a Holy File. Basically a contoured piece of plastic with aggressive abrasive material glued on. It's the best I've found at removing calluses without rubbing on your feet for 20 minutes. Not shilling just trying to help anyone with similar issues.

So does that mean this things wears down easily? If one month is the most commonly S&S selection.
Amazon are such liars. I bought a dryer vent that lasts many years. It was also most popular at one month. I swear they just want you to get the second one and hope it's a hassle to return (or decline the return).

I've been using this for about a month now. I definitely recommend it for upkeep if you want something that's fairly gentle on your feet. This will probably not work for neglected feet, ie deep cracking

Or consider the possibility that salons are ordering these and have them on a short S&S because they actually do go through them that quickly.

I have a tailors bunion (the outside of my foot). I tried a glass thing made by the brand Onyx and it's for more refined smoothing... didn't like it.

There's an equate callous rasp ($9 Walmart) that's been doing wonders for me. Shaves off the skin after several passes. I do it after the shower when the skins soft. If you want to remove lots of skin get a good rasp.
You walking around everywhere bare feet bro? What happened to that egg thing that scrapped dead skin?

If you have really bad callouses on your feet like I do, let me recommend this [amazon.com] .These are amazing!
I would recommend wearing shoes instead of raw dogg'n it on the concrete

If you need something like this, I can pretty much guarantee that what you really need is to start taking Vitamin D. I used to have horrible callus's on my heels, now I never have that problem.
This is not sound advice. You need a blood test to determine if you have vit D deficiency and your doctor will tell you how much to take. Too much D can be bad for you. It's not like C that you pee out if you take too much.

Why manual labor when you can just use your Sheet Sander and pick a grit:

I have excellent vitamin D levels (tested at last checkup) and have calluses. I walk and workout a lot, so it's not always about your nutritional intake.

My friend likes to add his feet clippings/debris into the family parmesan cheese comtainer and see who notices first. So far, nobody has...

Coincidentally, I bought the Onyx Sugar (Glass) foot file from Walgreen's on clearance a couple weeks ago. I didn't expect to be disappointed for $3 but it's almost completely useless. Somehow, it's abrasive enough to snag on to your skin but somehow not enough to actually remove any dead skin. It sounds gimmicky, but the Ped Egg is the best tool for the job

Don't worry, I think you'll really feel it when that starts to happen.
Yeah the good ones are basically like overpriced zesters. Everything else is a waste of time.
