As someone who may or may not work for this company I would highly encourage you to avoid anything "reconditioned" aka it's easier and cheaper to sell the returned item without checking it and replacing it if it's actually broken.

Everything factory reconditioned item I've gotten over 5lbs has arrived practically demolished since direct tools likes to choose an oversized box and use 3 pieces of brown paper as packaging.

Of course, everything but the only thing I need! This has been my luck all year. No discount on the mowers (except one that appears to be a small child's toy).

I have ordered a pressure washer, drill press, leaf blower, and one other thing that has slipped my mind. Every one, factory reconditioned only, have arrived as I described. The only one that was seriously damaged was the drill press, but all of them had varying levels of damage.

Each time Direct Tool offered a refund on return to be fair. The concern is that I am usually buying a tool because I need one.

Factory blemished have always arrived 100% to me. Indistinguishable from new most times.

Last 2 items i ordered from this website came with the wrong style of battery. in one it i had a non HP battery in place of a HP battery. in another i had a smaller battery than was requested.

both got ironed out by calling ryobi directly, but make sure you double check what you receive.

looking forward to the thumbs-down. its almost humorous how predictable it is. DTO either has a huge whit knight following or a hell of a lot of shills!

Haters can downvote all day, but this has been my experience as well with many orders including big items.

One time they included wrong size bag with lawnmower, but I called and they shipped the correct one at no cost

Not Non sense.. I had problem with 2 of the 3 shipments from their 40% off sale back in February. Consider yourself fortunate.

Factory blemished are indistinguishable from new and come packed tight and safe in their retail packaging. Factory reconditioned are already used and are thrown into a big box with little padding and a large risk of arriving damaged. I only order blems from this outfit, unless it's something I can go to the store to get.
