Update: contacted Amazon via chat. They assured me this is a brand new product.
If it turns out to be a refurb, I'll just return it.
I don't understand why this is a different listing on Amazon from https://a.co/d/gaLWd1V. Both the same model number, both appear to come with the same accessories. But like you said...if it's not the same, I'll return it.

That is the model number I see now. And RM means remanufactured
Edit: The Amazon website is all effed up. I just updated the title and pasted their RM number in it that I got from the breville site
Remanufactured only carries a 6-month warranty.
I don't particularly like we manufactured goods that come in contact with foods. But the big kicker for me was it only had a 6-month warranty

Since it just came out I paid full price. It's not a slick deal. I guess there's a chance it could go on sale for Black Friday and Christmas but I doubt it. Breville still has a boatload of inventory to get rid of.
It looks like they are starting to refresh there lineup.
