You can still install w11 on many unsupported CPUs, just that some features will not work which are not supported by that CPU.

6100 is "unsupported" but by name only. I had a box with a 6100 that runs w11 fine. You need to create install media and install it that way.

Yup, though the 6100 is deceptively fast for it's generation. It has rather high clock speeds and single core performance is better than some i5s of the same generation.

Not saying this is untrue, but just my personal experience; been running OPNsense for 2 years on several dell/wyse micros with Realtek nics + addon Realtek nics (same chips) without issue. So personally at this price I'd give it a go. Maybe I've been lucky in my builds or maybe Dell's Realtek chips are somehow better supported with OPNsense?
