Great deal, but boy is that heavy! Reminds me of my Alienware 17 R3 from many years ago. Was an absolute unit of a laptop. These are desktop replacements at best. Not putting a 7.3lb steaming hot brick on my lap!

Just a note if you feel so inclined this model came with a bunch of screen options so you can buy a different screen and swap it in then either resell the current screen or use it as a portable secondary. Included the available options below...

"Dell installs a matte UHD IPS panel (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) from AU Optronics with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There are numerous alternative options, starting with three Full HD displays, which differ primarily in the refresh rate (165, 360, 480 Hz!), but also in the support of FreeSync vs G-Sync. Then there is a QHD display (2,560 x 1,440) with 165 Hz."

Intel updates their wireless cards often, so if there is a problem it's got a decent chance of being fixed. I switch to intel wireless cards as standard operating procedure.

AMD is on par with 3080 mobile non Ti but still many driver issues in many games, if you just wanna game get an RTX 3080ti or RTX 4070ti laptop if you love tinkering get the AMDlaugh out loud

Picked up a Alienware X14 with 3050 for $820 after tax plus $120 Amex and 12% cash back. Seems like a steal, hope I'm not missing something.

Yeah definitely a steal. Dell steal 820 from you for a shitty laptop with shitty graphics card. You just bought a glorified ultra book.
