My wife got me the Mandalorian version for Christmas. I read that rule sheet at least 4 times and we still couldn't make heads or tails of it. Then I watched 3-4 "How to Play" videos on YouTube. Every single one of them was interpreting the rules differently. What a mess. It got tossed into a drawer somewhere to never be seen again.
I know it's only $3, but don't expect much even for $3.

I mostly agree with this. We didn't find most of the rules THAT confusing but there are definitely instances where the rules don't clearly track and you basically have to make your own decisions.
Bigger issue is that the game just isn't that fun and the powers make things somehow both too easy and too complex somehow. My kids haven't really wanted to play again since the first time.
It's a simple and fast pace game where my 5 year old can strategize, use the powers he's collected or the communal one to collect additional powers to win... Run (3 consecutive numbers of the same color) and three of a kind (pretty self explanatory) to collect a power is reminiscent of mahjong, and the need to have the Funko to use the collected or communal power (one power use per turn) adds to the strategy and variables of the game. Collect three powers first and you win. After a game or two, the instructions are largely no longer needed, and when switching between different variants of the games; may need to reference the list of powers, otherwise this is a very simple and fast paced game that we've had 4 year old to 70 year old's play.
