While no where near the steal a few lucky buyers scored at bhphoto a month ago (during the few hours that deal was alive), this is the cheapest I have seen it since, checking daily.
Dell is applying an immediate $100 off. Then use coupon code "Save10" for another $100 off during checkout, bringing the price down to $899 for the Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED ultra-wide.
The site suggests coupon code "awoled10" should also work. Save10 worked with my personal order. Hope this helps some others who have been waiting for another price-drop on this display. Cheers!

Or if you have another card (Chase, etc. sometimes have some Dell offer), Dell allows you to split payment over multiple cards, even using the online checkout interface, so you may be able to double dip. However that might void your credit card's extended warranty.
Also be sure you're signed up for Dell rewards, as this purchase will give you enough points to order something small from Dell for free, like a Tile tracker.
Excited to hear it! I briefly had a LG c2 42" on my desktop, but the panel failed on me after 3 months. Between auto-dimming, higher input lag than my prior Predator monitor, and my 3080 just not quite being up to the task of high frame rate 4k gaming, e.g. in Cyberpunk, it wasn't an ideal solution for me. Hoping the AW3423 will prove to be the sweet spot for mixed productivity and gaming!

The monitor currently has broken HDR1000 mode with the stock settings. Hopefully the next firmware update will fix it. Until then, this guide (along with turning "console mode" and "source tone mapping" on if you have an Nvidia card) shows how to setup HDR for the best experience and the workaround to get HDR1000 working correctly. Games looked like sh*t in HDR1000 when I got mine a couple weeks ago. After following the guide, it's the most incredible monitor I've ever seen. Dell is supposedly working on a firmware fix that's supposed to be out sometime in the next month, but until then the workaround is needed. HDR600 mode works without the workaround, but the HDR1000 mode is what sets it apart from other OLEDs. If you have Game Pass, install Ori and the Will of the Wisps and prepare to have your mind blown. Cyberpunk, God of War, Jedi Survivor, Horizon Zero Dawn, Forza Horizon 5, and Doom Eternal also look incredible. A lot of games have poor/broken HDR, but there are still plenty that were done right.
Edit: Dell has since released a firmware update on June 2 that completely fixed the HDR1000 mode, so make sure you update when you receive it. Update the firmware, install the ICC profile, run Windows HDR calibration (only available on Windows 11 from the app store), and you should have an amazing HDR experience.
