I got a train simulator for free on one of these platforms and it was as boring as you would expect it to be. I guess I don't know what I was expecting. Thought maybe it would be a relaxing ride through the countryside or something but I would rather watch a POV youtube video of a real train ride than video game graphic depictions of nature.

OpenTTD isn't a train simulator, per se. But trains are the star of your distribution networks. So much fun people have played it for decades and it's totally free.
