It's really too bad that the cover isn't included, and the model with the cover isn't on sale. I might have bought otherwise. Been waiting on a blackstone clearance, but at this price, I might have made entry into the griddle grill space.

I've seen some in person. I'd say they are a more budget option than a Blackstone.
Better to wait for a similar prices Blackstone instead. (which is already budget, but better)

All griddles will rust if not seasoned properly. I learned this the hard way. All good now. No rust once I learned what to do. This is entry level but a pretty good deal. So many folks buy these and lose interest quickly or don't take the time to maintain them. This is a real nice jumping in griddle and easily sold at a minimal loss if you decide it's not for you.
