Veradek actually makes decent products. We have 4 of their planters (different style), and after 4 years, they still look great. Don't confuse this for some crappy no-name brand.

wanted to put them in my front driveway to grow some vegetables but then I noticed its only 10" from front to back at the longest part.

Should be plenty to grow pretty much any usual backyard grown vegetables and herbs

business costcos carry one that is 12" wide. i think they run 45? i'm gonna pick some up tomorrow.

Thanks but this is not the Pure series that costco offers. It is 10lbs vs costco's 15lbs suggesting it is probably made by a cheaper material.
