Lots of bad review that from receiving rusted out, used, empty package, snapped, etc. no thanks.

Seems like all these impact adapters break often. Wish I knew which was the best to buy. I'd spend more money to get one that won't snap.

I bought some Craftsman and another brand but I would have to go look for the name. I've used them to remove wheel lug nuts between 84 to 110 ft lbs and they're still holding up just fine.

After some research, looks like the adapters with the thin wrapped round barrel are designed to break predictably and safely. The thicker ones can handle more power but snap unpredictably and can send shrapnel. Hmm.

Get a real tool. These are short cut adapters to be used occasionally.

If the tool can do it, the thing I plug into it should be able to, too.

The 1/4 hex impacts are getting pretty spicy. Bits gotta keep up! (Bosch Freak fixed this problem in an interesting way)
