I blend it with coconut oil for popcorn that tastes exactly like movie theaters. It's not as good as real clarified butter, but sometimes you get nostalgic when watching a movie at home..
Hardly - you can get cheap booze for way less than a dollar an oz. Box'oWine (real product) is about 35 cents an oz of alcohol, according to the internet.
Besides which, if you can afford to be in a frat, you can afford actual booze.
This is more like what some underage kid would try to buy so he doesn't get carded, if anything.
I remember an undergraduate experience in an organic lab, we were synthesizing fruit oils, and a clumsy fellow student broke an $8k rotary evaporator and with it, a small vial of nearly pure banana oil.
Those unaware, even extracts are nowhere near such concentrations. This was so strong it was gagging and burned our eyes. We had to vacate the premises for hazmat cleanup. I was tasting and smelling bananas for hours lol. Good times.

What the heck is butter extract? Do you put it in pancake batter?

Or just cut out the middleman and get the AMC brand popcorn. The pre-popped extra butter one is as close to movie theater popcorn as you're going to get and it only takes 30 seconds in the microwave.
I used to buy lemon extract because it is good for nausea. It makes does you *drunk* if you consume the entire bottle. I can confirm it is mostly booze.

Nasty. No, I still want to pop fresh corn and use pure coconut oil. Heck, I even grow the popcorn. It's one of the easiest kinds of corn to grow, so my kid gets that for her gardening project each year, and there's always a good ten pounds of so of kernels. We get coconut oil in bulk, since we use it for a lot of things, not just food, so butter extract is the biggest expense of the whole thing... and this sale made that even less. For me, this and the almond extract made me very happy. I'm good on everything else.

At $1 each, they're just begging to be cleaned out by some frat house.
