I did the three year conversion three years ago. My Xbox GPU just expired. I was able to do new three year conversion last night using this Cdkeys deal. 3 years for about $96 ($2.67 per month)!

Follow these instructions:

1. Let Game Pass Ultimate expire.

2. Buy nine 3 month Xbox Live Gold (worldwide) cards from Cdkeys for $8.89 each. There is a limit of two per transaction, so you will need to do five transactions.

3. Redeem the first code through Microsoft. You will be presented with an option to get a free (fourth) month if you sign up for auto renewal. Do that, complete activation of the code and then turn off auto renewal.

4. Repeat until the last code. Don't take the auto renewal option on the last code. That keeps you at 35 months and allows the next step to work immediately.

5. Go to the following link to upgrade all of the Xbox Live Gold time to Ultimate by purchasing a month for $14.99.

6. I additionally turned off auto renewal at the end of all this.

Can confirm the conversion trick still works. I just ordered two of these at a time using a new private browsers each time and checking out as a guest. Was able to get 3 years of gamepass for around $120.

50 days if you already have an account. People say it's better to buy three years worth of this, and then convert it over to three years of Ultimate. But, you probably would have to make a brand new account to get the conversion to work, I think it only applies to new accounts now. Also Microsoft has stopped doing the $1 months of GamePass, so you would have to pay the full 1 month price to convert these now.

Doesn't need to be a new account, simply an expired / inactive Game Pass Ultimate sub. Also can buy 1 month GPU code to do the conversion.

To follow up on my post above...

I did nothing special for the five transactions. I just did them one after another. No VPN needed.

Also, I trust Cdkeys unlike some other sites. I used them for years, including for the codes for my last conversion.

Oh cool, thanks for the correction. I've never been able to get it to work, but I also never let my GamePass lapse because I use my rewards points on free months of GamePass Ultimate. I haven't paid anything since the $1 I spent in November of 2019.
