These are the 84 teeth kind which is an older model, their new line is the 90 tooth which obviously doesn't give you much less of a swing arc(0.3°). You can still purchase the repair kits for the 84T from gearwrench though so it doesn't seem like they're phasing out support for these.
No codes or anything, just a good deal.

The GW ratchets are amazing. I have 4 different ones and i always reach for them instead of my older USA made Craftsman. For the price you can't beat them.
The 90 tooth 3 pc GW set which is almost exactly the same as this set (except for 6 extra teeth) is selling for over $130 right now. The standard 3 pc GW set with no flex, let alone locking flex is selling for $80. So, just because there may have been a slightly lower price doesn't make this "not a deal." ACME wants $150 for this same set and JB Tools wants $135. Amazon's price, while not the lowest ever, is still a very good deal.
