First off, you're 100% wrong and this watch is still receiving updates. It's basically equivalent to an Apple Watch Series 5, which is still a decent watch. I would have no issues recommending this watch if someone is ok without an always-on display.

How is that on SD? 1st gen for 150$ is way overpriced for a piece of tech that's discontinued and no longer gets updates.

Nike + Cellular carries a $30+ premium on most versions, so I upvoted this as a good deal. Yes, it's discontinued - most Apple Watches are at this point - but it's still supported.

Do your research bro it's disconnected but the 1st gen SE still gets updates. I bought mine from Costco this last October & it got the last update last month. This is why I say educate yourself by doing research.

Even then I have an old Series 2 that still works fine for notifications and first party apps. And yes, that's with a newish, fully updated phone.
At some point they'll probably drop it, but you likely have a few years even after support for this SE drops out.
I have a 7 and I'm tempted just to try out cellular.
