Ace has the Milwaukee combination pliers on sale for 14.97. Great tool for the electrical DIYer or professional that does some electrical work.

Same. Great stripper. I've used kleins, knipex and this one is my fav.
Haha I found this deal too but the drive too Ace is too far, so I checked home depot and they had it, a bit more but free shipping. I did not realize there was already a thread on it (I searched Home Depot and the pliers so missed this one). link to Home Depot deal

I have 2 pairs and never use them. As wire strippers they are clunky and slow you down vs the old style stamped metal strippers.

You can't be serious? These are excellent wire strippers.

They are much slower and chunkier than a standard klien stripper.

Unlike @Oregonwino, my Ace is a walking distance whereas my closest HDs ( same distance and time to drive, just different directions ) take more than 20 mins to drive. I also like my Ace as it is very neighborhoody, if you come often enough they will recognize you as a frequent customer.

How are they 'much slower'?? Seems they would work pretty much the same as any strippers with sized holes along the jaws. I can see the Klein being a little easier to use just because they're smaller and more for only wire stripping. Where these Milwaukee look heavier and add in small bolt cutters and other options. Just don't see like that much of a difference to make them much slower... unless there's something I'm not seeing.

This type of wire strippers becomes very old very soon if you have to do 8-10 Awg and even 12 gauge wires on a regular basis.

Having done general maintenance work for a company that owned/built 25-30 restaurants in Northern CA for several yrs, I think I've used wire strippers exponentially more than the average DIY person. That being said, I always laugh when people question or even doubt or argue with others that use them for at least multiple hours per day, or have done wiring jobs much bigger than our homes, hundreds of times! Lol, no ill will towards anyone, I just find it amusing. I'm also just gonna take their word for it, eh? Smilie
