Talk about odd timing.... mother in law gifted this item just under 2 years ago, about 1 week ago it stopped working. When I switch on the device, all five buttons are illuminated. The power button emits a green light, while the remaining four buttons (Latte, 6oz, 8oz, and 10oz) are all glowing blue. About 1 month ago it stopped pouring proper portion, so if you pressed 6oz you would get 50% water resevoir.
Things I tried to fix:
1. Unplug unit, wait 2 hours plug unit back in
2. Visiting YouTube clicking first 10 videos and tried simple repair steps like descale, check water reservoir and positioning, etc..
3. Contacting live chat support on website (did not get any help)
4. Created ticket on website, waited half day and they said to call them
5. No results

Just had a conversation with Keurig customer support, which lasted about 15 minutes. I discovered that warranty only covers cheap Chinese products for a duration of one year. They offered me a 20% discount coupon if I decide to make a purchase through your website. However, it seems counterintuitive to buy another low-quality plastic piece of junk item that will likely end up in the landfill eventually.
It's truly unfortunate because the milk frother is in perfect condition, and it's such a useful tool. That was my favorite part about this machine, because once or twice a month I would crank out a beautiful cup of joe.
It's like they want me to order another one online from Best Buy, Walmart, etc, wait 30 days and return my broken unit in the brand new box and just keep the working unit.
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Keurig and I have no intention of recommending their products to anyone I know. They were unable to assist me in resolving my issue, so I will be speaking negatively about the company for the rest of my life. They didn't even meet me half way and offer a 50% off discount or something that was reasonable... 20% is a joke... because their website pricing is already 20% marked up. 😬
GG, Keurig is low tier garbage. Just spend the $$ and make monthly payment plan on a proper setup (or buy in cash) if you don't wanna spend $20 for a Walmart single k cup coffee maker. Not sure why anyone would settle for any of their products UNLESS it was a gift to be honest.
p.s. - they offered me a box of k cups but was requested I pay for shipping 😂
