Dollar General deal has expired as of 6/4/23. If you have a Costco membership, you can still get $100 packs of PS gift cards at a 20% discount. Walgreens, Office Depot/OfficeMax, and Rite Aid are also doing deals on Playstation gift cards this week that come out to 20% back in store rewards or store gift cards; see their sale flyers for details.
You can stack the Costco deal with a Discover card for an additional 5% back.
$25 gift cards are the cheapest denomination that qualifies for the deal – supposedly. According to telamon99, the deal also applies to $10 gift cards, and since the discount is a flat $6, you'd get 30% off instead of 12% if you buy two $10s.

I have essentials right now but have thought about going with extra... premium? nah!
Using some of it to fund an Extra subscription for my nephew tomorrow when the sale starts.

There were two different racks in the store with the $10 cards on them.
The sales ad may say $10 cards are excluded, but the cash register isn't programmed with that limitation and the sales people didn't care to limit the number of times I did the promo. I didn't try it with any of the other gift cards they had in stock.
