It's marketed for gaming because gamers are the primary market for marginal performance gains.
There is a difference in speed, not specifically for gaming, and not too significant in most cases.
Or on Prime Day, if we get in July again.
This is mighty tempting though, so thank you to OP. I won't need this for another month or two, so I am going to sit tight and see what happens... I bet it goes at least a little bit lower, maybe somewhere between $269-289. But it's already dropped so much, maybe this will be as low as it goes until the end of the year?
