It says the max SD Card supported is 128GB but I use a 256GB with no issues. I have entire library of MAME, SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, 32X, TurboGrafx 16, Atari 2600/5200/7800 and PS1 installed so far....will add Colecovision, Intellivision, and Gameboy platforms in the upcoming weeks when I get around to it.
One of my favorite gadgets of the year (and I paid more for it). I liked it so much i bought the carrying case and charging dock
