This is a great wheel and pedal set. I bought this back in 2017 for around this price and have been happy ever since. I do recommend buying a decent wheelstand for stability while racing.

Also, if you are interested in getting it to work with any Xbox One or Series X/S, I would get the Drive Hub by Collective Minds. I've had zero issues with it using after updating the firmware upon arrival.

Where is the R5 kit for a little more than $100? Looks like it's $530 everywhere which is almost $200/a bit over 50% more (and while I'm sure the pedals are much nicer, they don't have a clutch)

Thank you for the info. This kit def comes with pedals too, though. Your message seems a bit misleading. Not willing to spend $200 on top of this, but you never know. Free returns after all. Everyone has a different budget and idea for a starter set.

Great wheel. But a lot of problem. I have same thing die on me exactly after one year. There is a lot of videos on how to repair but none that identifies problem with my unit. Thrustmaster willl cost $200 to fix it.

I went from Moza R5 kit to TM T248. I like the pedals on the T248 better honestly, although the DD R5 wheel base obviously feels much better. Not sure if pedals that come on the T300RS are different from T248 but they look the same.

T248 has the T3PM pedals vs the T300's T3PA. I think(?) they're the same pedals but with hall effect sensors on the T3PM instead of the older potentiometers, The Moza pedals use load cells, so they should offer a lot more precise feedback (but personal preference comes into play too). The pedals are generally regarded as the weakest part of the T300RS GT, though still a substantial upgrade over the non-GT.

Note that I don't REALLY know what I'm talking about and this has all been gathered as I've been waiting on a sale for this particular wheel. The Moza R5 bundle comes with the SRP Lite pedals which use hall effect sensor instead of load cell like on the upgrade SRP pedal. You're correct that T248 comes with T3PM (magnetic) pedals. It looks like only the GT version of the T300RS comes with T3PA, not sure what model pedal comes with non-GT version but its only 2-pedal..

I just got a Drive Hub for the opposite - using the Thrustmaster TX on PS5. They're great entry/mid wheels without going to direct drive for more force and feedback.

There's another huge benefit to the Drive Hub - you can start to mix and match equipment. I plan to swap to Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals, CSL DD, etc. I don't like the Thrustmaster wheels which are kinda pricey and the Fanatec pedals seem just a bit better.

Good deal, but wow inflation is out of control. I bought mine for just over $210 a while back. I have since sold and upgraded to a direct drive wheel and Heusinkveld pedals, but this setup did me well for a while. Some mods to the brake can make it even better.

Yeah, I just picked up a Drive Hub so I don't have to keep swapping wheels on my rig when I go from PS5-Series X and back. Once I got to 3 wheels, I'd had enough.

Wow I was curious so I checked my order history and bought this exact same wheel in 2019 for $220 and sold it in 2022 for $330, I actually made a profit on this thing lol that's wild
