I agree with you but the addition of silicon dioxide is not used as a filler. It is used as a "flow agent" which reduces the powder from clumping on their machinery that packs these powders. I wrote my masters thesis on silica dioxide nanoparticle toxicity. Most of our supplements and food have silica dioxide nanoparticles but there are no regulations that even say manufactures are required to test for nanoparticles therefore "dont worry about it" lol. Silica is inert in the macro sized molecules but poses a plethora of issues as a nanoparticle. I avoid every supplement with silica dioxide in it...which is alot.

edit: let me not say "most" food. Many processed packaged food can contain silica. 😋

I think their products are real but I think they are padded/cut with other things like rice flour and silicon dioxide to give more weight/content

BulkSupplements does that now too.

All the old big names are sketchy because they just rely on the name recognition now

There is a way to tell from molecular weight how much should be on average in a level teaspoon or tablespoon.

I believe pure creatine should be around 1.5 teaspoons = 5 grams (5000mg)

Actually google says 1.4 teaspoons but good luck measuring that

So you'd need a half teaspoon scoop and use three of those. You can test it with water to see if the seller's scoop is 3x half-teaspoons or larger

I just take a scoop of orange triad and body strong creatine, toss it in my mouth, take a big ass swig from this 64oz water container that I haven't washed in like a year or so, swish it around, and swallow. I then drink like 20 more ounces.

You're a fan of creapure, which is cool, but it's also twice the cost of SixStar. I'm very pleased with the results achieved using MuscleTech & SixStar creatine, but like anything else, YMMV.

To be fair the regulated drugs are a joke as well. Making it unregulated doesn't mean it is inherently poor quality. As you can see, the customer needs to always be wary and do research with anything they put in their body.

It will be on the labels in "Other ingredients". What isn't on the label or regulated is the size of the molecule or that it includes nanoaprticles which have not been tested as safe. The shape of the molecules also play a role in toxicity. If you google silica nanoparticle toxicity you will find a few studies published recently that are exploring this.

To answer your question most directly, the first thing I do when deciding to purchase a supplement is to look at the "other incgredients". If I see silica dioxide or silica, I don't purchase it.
