So not a deal at all.
$299 for what is essentially the employee standby benefit is not bad!
yes.
I looked into it when it was 499$.
my example flight was DEN-CUN may 22nd.
$price 86$
club price 46$
mexico has a pretty high tourist tax so this isn't fully representative.
but, you can check on frontier website what the club price is for any flight.
so you will quickly realize, pretty much like any promo on frontier:
it's bullshit.
I've flown them at least 10 times without issue.
The type of people that are on the plane are definitely not the same (as a whole) as those flying the more expensive carriers. So there's that. But you're also saving a lot of $

As someone who is a fan of Frontier, especially traveling to see friends and fam when I was broke, the airline is immensely valuable, but the best tip I can give is that they frequently have coupon sales that might be more worth it than the all you can fly pass.
The coupons used to be sometimes 50-99% off, yes you heard that right. I had flights that were $15 because of taxes and fees. The coupon is usually the top and middle of the month. This means with the cost of the all you can fly, you'd have to fly like 2-3 times a month to recoup the cost of the cheap tickets anyway. I bought the pass because I thought you'd be able to book any flight but they have reserved seats specifically for the GoWild pass that can be out even if the flight is still available for normal sale.
If you want a quick weekend trip or flying to a location where you don't need much luggage, just a duffle, then it's a great airline. Just bring a neck pillow, noise cancelling headphones, and lumbar support and you're good (the seats are terrible).
Airline quality of service has gone down, yes. However, it is OUR fault for demanding lower prices. Airfare has absolutely NOT kept up with inflation and fuel prices over the last thirty years. Something has to give in that equation.
Ao, poor quality of service and extra fees are totally on us.

I kinda agree with this (see my longer comment post)
Yes this is my exact issue. The pass isn't for the normal traveler. They early release seats and those who are planning months ahead already booked it all up.
