Thanks for the tip with the Xbox Live. Picked up an additional year. Should you update the title of your post to include the fact that if you also wanted to get Xbox Gamepass Ultimate, you need to spend an additional $15 so it's not just a $31 deal. Thanks again op.

You don't have to buy in increments of 4. Looks like the discount will apply for any number of codes, at least up to 9. Price comes out to around $8/code if paying through PayPal. Really good deal, $4.80 per month for those looking to extend

I'm new and a little confused. How many codes should I buy to get 36 months, 9, 10 or 12 codes? And can I redeem all the codes in one time? Thanks in advance for helping!

The max is 36 months total, so you could only extend a subscription until May 30, 2026.

You can still use Xbox Live Gold codes to extend an existing Game Pass Ultimate sub, but 3 month XBL Gold converts to 50 days GPU. See official FAQ for conversion chart.

You can't downgrade, you can only wait until your sub expires. This deal won't work for you.

12. 12x3=36. Unless you're lucky and get a free month for recurring subscriptions. Didn't work for me when I bought nine at first. Bought three more for 36 months.

3 month (90 days) Xbox Live Gold converts to 50 days Game Pass Ultimate for existing GPU subs. That's a ratio of 9:5, better than what you said.

I already mentioned those codes in another post. It's a 2 month TRIAL code that can't stack. You can't buy multiples of those and add them together. However can be used instead of paying $15 to Microsoft to sign-up for Game Pass Ultimate.

Yeah, people make up all kinds of ratios. The way it actually all works is based on MSRP retail price. With GPU being $14.99, the ratio fluctuates depending how much gold you buy at a time. You get more GPU for a month of gold per month than you do for a year of gold per month, because the monthly codes ($9.99) cost more than the yearly codes ($59.99 = $5.00/month) per month. So with a $9.99 gold code you get $9.99 worth of GPU, and with a $59.99 code you get $59.99 worth of GPU.

A year or two back I did a call to Microsoft Customer Service who handles Xbox Live, they mentioned if I want to they can help to downgrade my account back to Gold Live, but at that point my Gamepass was in a expired state? will they be able to downgrade an active Gamepass to Live...and so I can extend it and I will wait for a time to get back on GPU
