Seems like they raised the prices. I took a picture of it on May 12, when it was $149 with in store pickup and $199 otherwise

Yes true, while on battery it's Stepped. "Pure" while online.

This is probably overkill for a simple router backup. For a router, I would recommend 450-1000 VA depending on your expectation for uptime and additional loads. I have this unit powering 2 laptops on 2 docks with 3 screens and accessories (+/-130W according to the display). It ran for over an hour on battery before it died [suddenly].

Huh? While on battery (only)?

Pretty sure all UPS outputs deliver a "pure sine wave" when "online", that is AC powered…just like the utility provides!

My last CyberPower 1500VA unit did not last but 2 years. It was not the battery.

Why are these so much cheaper than lets say an ecoflow? UPS have instant power, may have sine wave and are easier to replace an internal battery pack in. I understand PPS has ability to charge on the go from multiple sources including solar but the price differences usually are 3x less. So, is it basically the amount of amps at one time these can hold before blowing out a fuse what really sets these apart.
