Look under the keypad. There's connector for 9V battery. Although who would be carrying around a spare 9V?

Majority of single family residences possess a garage opener powered by a 9V battery, which can be detached to unlock the Yale deadbolt. At least that is the case in the entirety of our neighborhood.
