Not a fan of the color temps. 6K is too cold and 2700 is too warm. I feel like Goldilocks. Where's 3K or better still 4K?

As far as Google home is concerned, I plug mine into a KASA switch that's compatible with Google. Use mine for under cabinet lights in kitchen. For connecting to outlet, the electrical plug end usually has multiple feet of line so you can reach just about anywhere you need.

I don't understand how to achieve that "showcase" look when the connectors seem too short for the shelf gap.

I'd like to line the shelves of my built-ins with a 2700k light that's also compatible with Google Home. Even thought this isn't compatible with Google Home, it's also only $6, but I don't trust it'll be able to achieve that "showcase" look.

Just got mine, Wish I had read more into it, OP says 6, 1.6' pieces, however there is really no way to use them separately, so its really just one piece of 10', unless you want to cut it shorter or use only a few of the sections and throw away the rest?

I was really hoping to use it in 3 different spots with 3' in each.
