    Be careful if you have an SUV. I tried this on my CX-5, bent and dented the hell out of it. Cheap thin panels on the CX-5 (2018). I did it like the instructions say. Ended up using it on our Scion xB and it was fine with that. Much better panels on that hatch.

    Wow, that's a bargain price. But before buying a cheap car rack, consider the value of your bikes, how much your car is worth, and your personal acceptance of risk for potential damage to both.

    Edit: And watch the weight limit. I don't see the specs, but a rack like this is probably not designed for bikes more than 35lbs, so a Walmart bike would probably be pushing it and it'd be a definite no for practically anything electric.

    Thanks for bringing that up! I found from the official product page [shopify.com] that the Max Capacity is 100Lbs. / 35Lbs. per bike.

    Thanks for looking that up. I saw the 100lbs total on the Amazon page, but the per bike rating is important too. Some people might think they could safely hang two 50 pounders on this rack, but the cradles and straps are only designed for 35 pound bikes.

    I used the same carrier to haul 3 bikes across the country for 2,100 miles, one of them being a heavy Walmart bike and continue using it regularly. Zero issues. This is a great sturdy carrier.
