I played this when it first came out, and it's pretty fun. It's not a AAA game, but it's definitely worth a playthrough if you're a fan of RTS games. And it's still being updated pretty regularly.

Funniest part about the shower scene I know now is the director had said earlier to the actors he wouldn't ask them to do anything they weren't comfortable with. One of the actors then reminded him of this while they were about to film that shower scene. Sure enough he agreed he said that and agreed to also be in the nude while filming it. Lol

The price increased to $11.19, but it's still a pretty good deal for a fun RTS game.

Love that the Starship Troopers comics and movie are very anti-colonial and anti-war satire but that's completely lost on so many people that are into it

Not only is the anti-war, anti-blind patriotism, anti-classist society messages, etc lost on many but a large portion of those seem to worship the very qualities the satire is ridiculing. It would be like confusing A Modest Proposal with a cookbook Wink

I played it when it was first released, it's actually pretty fun. It's an RTS without the base building. It also has Steam Workshop support, and there are a lot of custom maps.
