So I would shower before going to bed and apply this in bed. The two things I think helped was generously applying when my heels had added moisture (either from the shower or lotion). Second was taking a break from wearing sandals and wearing even slip pjs with no socks. I applied it sometimes in the morning but usually forgot. Added bonus was grabbing a nail filer or something to remove excess skin.
I relapsed a month ago and had to do this routine over again. Worked after I stopped wearing sandals just enough to let it heal once more.
Item does show 30% off coupon for me.
What does work on my feet is 40% urea cream before bed, then cover with thick cotton socks. I do that once or twice a week. The rest of the week I apply shea and cocoa butter blend before bed, and again, socks.
At this price the stick is worth trying and if it doesn't help you have an easy to apply balm for other areas.
Obviously, it doesn't address the problem, so you either need to apply this periodically or find out why it happens and try to fix it.
