On my existing account they offered me a year for 50% off if I paid the year up front but that was not worth it to me
missed the biggest beef deal just a few days ago without the w+ though.
people posted deal on their facebook. got the $25 beef family packs for only $5 each. they got tons of them for 2 days. i didnt have the w+ so couldnt do the pick up same day without $5 extra charge. i was too cheap for that now i regret it

I think sometimes we all over think it though and next thing you know, you're heavily questioning stuff like this. I use Sams Club a lot so their Plus membership is well worth it. I have been waiting for a great trial for Walmart and thought I may have had one just now, but I can wait for the next 90 day to see if I want it or not...

I buy tons of items from W so I can always add a non perishable item as filler
