  1. Click here to link your Chase Ultimate Rewards account to your Amazon account if they are not already linked
    • Note, you often have to wait 24 to 48 hours after linking your rewards account before you can "activate" the offer. Check the link in the next step after a few days for eligibility.
  2. Visit the promotion page and click the yellow "Activate now" button to activate the promotion on your Amazon account.
    • Note that you will NOT receive the promotion unless you click on the yellow "Activate now" button.
  3. Add eligible products sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart

Almost always. I only redeem when the points have more value.

I almost always use them for travel since that's usually the biggest bonus, but I only travel once in awhile. Statement credit bonuses were nice too (during covid).

Always try to max your value on points. Sometimes that means redeem as quickly as possible, but with Chase UR points, holding them can make sense.

Unfortunately, I'm not eligible for this offer but a 40% bonus would have been sweet.

Since this deal uses chase UR points- and the amazon visa does not earn UR points, that's not surprising at all.

The benefit of these Amazon promos is that you don't need to make your full Amazon purchase using these rewards. You can split your amazon transaction only using $1 worth of your rewards (possibly less?) and the rest via regular payment and you will still get the 40% off.

Many times, to me it makes zero sense to waste my points a dollar at a time on small purchases. I build them up until they can save me several hundred dollars on a big purchase.

Worked for me but this is the first time I've used UR points to pay for something on amazon. I did have trouble buying probiotics even though it did say it was shipped and sold by amazon. I ended up getting a video game, toilet paper, and toothpaste since I couldn't find much on my wishlists that were both sold and shipped by amazon.

Yeah. Only work on "sold and shipped" by Amazon.com products, Amazon Warehouse is not as same as Amazon.com
I keep literally $0.05 always just in case. I only use 0.01 for Amex or Chase.

I think 2020 (or 2019) was the last time I was eligible for UR, MR, Discover, or Citi points amazon deal.
