I think out of the big 3 food delivery companies grubhub has the most inflated price.
For sure in my city. Worst prices and fewest drivers, so they have slower times. Both Uber Eats and DoorDash work well here, but I've ordered GrubHub many times due to Prime and it is slow always.

I just checked yesterday. Local sushi place, DD was $1 more for every item I saw. And I checked Tommy's and the prices were the same. Seems like it can vary.
Is this a deal? Uber Eats gives me 40% targeted promo and it's still 25 to 30% more than going to the restaurant. Which means regular price is nuts
They used to be when the discount works on pick up orders. Now you're just saving from those delivery fees and tip.
Merchants are just raising to cover what the delivery apps are charging them. Some mom and pops tell me if I want a pickup. Just do the old school call in to order

Oh yeah, I remember those deals. Now I feel that I pay too much, the restaurant has to jack of prices and Uber is the only winner.
I've had grub hub plus since last year nice it comes free with amazon, Instacart membership. Used it only a couple times ordering for family members otherwise it's expensive
My area i just stopped using it. The places by me used to do "free" delivery because they built it into the price. But once the delivery app came into play. They just kept the price the same. Added a delivery fee and need to use this grubhub+ crap to make you think you're saving $3 on a delivery fee that grubhub charges.
Inflated price, extra added fee, tip for the driver all this will lead you the pay more than if you have got it in yourself. I understand the advantage of getting food in the doorstep but I don't think you save any buck by using any of these food delivery service.

I started using their price guarantee program and submit claims for almost every order. They give price difference plus 5 dollar credit for each claim.
Grubhub has the most insane order fee. Unlike UberOne and DashPass which reduce fees or provide a discount.
I am just waiting for my Google News app to give the bankruptcy notice for Grubhub anyday now. That order fee coupled with the measley $5 off promos that they celebrate way too extravagantly are useless.
I'm glad this seems to be an actual ubereats/ dashpass like promo with a decent $20 max ceiling.

They call that the bait & switch. Get you used to the convenience then make you pay for said convenience upon inflation.
Only time I use Grubhub is when my dasher friend bugs me so he can get the delivery order. Win win i guess.
