Just my opinion, but I've found that Vice balls are the best in the market. Of course, I love ProV1s too, but I refuse to buy them at their price. Vice Pros are the best golf ball for me, a 14 handicapper with faster swing speeds but I don't hit piss rockets. The most important thing you can do when it comes to balls is play the same one, and find one that feels good when you strike it and putt it. Srixon are great, but if you don't intend to pay the heftier price for them longer term, skip this deal and get balls you'll stick to through every round. As others said, take into consideration how many balls you lose per round. Mine is less than 1 avg for 9 holes, so I'm fine with the price point. If you lose many, look to cheaper balls that are mid-level range and work on your game so you don't lose as many. Good luck out there, everyone! Fore!

Finally! Been waiting years for a deal to come back on the z-stars. Definitely stocking up. Going to try those divides, any thoughts from anyone who's used them?

Got 15 boxes with triple points. Going to buy more with rewards once those points hit. Should be good until the next sale hits in 2027. OP - I'd add the 2022 divides to the post too as they're also buy B2G1.

Zstar divides are great. more muted than the q star but you can still see spin and roll really well. not as easy to spot in the woods though!

Good call! I've added links for both Divide models. I bought some Divide balls for putting practice and they work great for that, but I have not used them on course.

Thanks for the post. Best value out there for a tour ball. Grabbed me some Z Star Diamonds (not on sale, but still B2G1) that I've been wanting to try since they came out and Z Star XV Divides. I've play regular XVs for four years now but use the divides for putting.

Its the same ball, just a different color scheme, so if you are interested in using the two tone scheme to line up the ball or get some visual feedback from the spin, its a good option. For some it may be too distracting.

Just getting back into golf so I might need to stock up on these. Just in case anyone else is wondering:

What is the difference between Srixon Z-Star and XV?

The standard Z-Star has a lower compression and a 20-percent thicker cover (0.6 millimeters vs. 0.5 millimeters on the XV). It might be the best choice for players who demand the most spin around the greens, and by comparison to the XV it should offer a little more than 10 percent more spin on the shortest of chips

Srixon said the standard Z-Star has the softest mid-layer and lowest overall compression, providing the softest feel at impact. In contrast, the Z-Star XV ball has a soft core that is drastically firmer around its outer area for more distance and long-iron spin.

How do these compare to the Kirkland balls?

What's the real world difference between z-star and XV version?

These are 4 piece urethane balls vs Ksig 3 piece. Zstar is 90 compression, Zstar XV is 102, and Zstar diamond is 95.

Real world is all about feel. I like these and play Srixon in winter, but I play Maxfli Tour X in summer because I can feel the ball better. If you're an amateur golfer, go with whatever feels best TO YOU!

For the best value, I think it's Srixon all day. However, if you are a golfer who loses a lot of balls per round (5+), then Kirkland is likely a better option.

If you're 15+, then I don't think it matters. Go with a cheaper ball.
