Just my opinion, but I've found that Vice balls are the best in the market. Of course, I love ProV1s too, but I refuse to buy them at their price. Vice Pros are the best golf ball for me, a 14 handicapper with faster swing speeds but I don't hit piss rockets. The most important thing you can do when it comes to balls is play the same one, and find one that feels good when you strike it and putt it. Srixon are great, but if you don't intend to pay the heftier price for them longer term, skip this deal and get balls you'll stick to through every round. As others said, take into consideration how many balls you lose per round. Mine is less than 1 avg for 9 holes, so I'm fine with the price point. If you lose many, look to cheaper balls that are mid-level range and work on your game so you don't lose as many. Good luck out there, everyone! Fore!

If you're 15+, then I don't think it matters. Go with a cheaper ball.
Golf ball performance does matter, regardless of handicap. There are plenty of studies that show that premium urethane balls have better QC and more consistent spin, which is especially helpful around the greens for a high handicap.

Ultimately, it comes down to budget and how often you lose balls. If you lose < 3 balls per round, then you are saving at most $1.47 per round ($1.95 Srixon - $1.46 Kirkland). Given the cost of a typical round of golf, that is a drop in the bucket.

Any drop off In performance if you buy the 2021s since they're now 2 year old golf balls?

No yellow color z-stars at Dick's. I tried the z-star divide and they are good performing balls but the ball has some glitter-like effect on the surface which is kinda distracting.

Any reason to not get used balls from a store like lostgolfballs over these? Legit question, not threadcrapping. I just received a bag of 48 Srizon Super Softs for like $40 shipped. They're in great condition.

My favorite ball is the XV. Played with Pro V1x for years until I was given a sleeve of these. Haven't been back. Love them.

If you're losing balls a lot during a round, buying in bulk for cheap would be best bet. You run the risk of refurb balls. Sometimes they're range or really cheap balls stamped Pro V1 or the higher end models like the Srixon here.

It's not a bad deal, but maybe 3 years ago it was a true BOGO.
Since they changed the offer I went to ProV1's and never went back.

Thanks Srixon

Q-Star Tour is my choice since I have slower swing speed. But I see that Q-Star Tour price/discount isn't as slick. 😢
