I've been a musician for 35 years and have a pretty keen ear for music. They sound great to me (litte heavy on the low end, but not bad).

I realize theres a "that $300 speaker can't compare to my $7500 'I'm not married' setup," group out there, but lazy is not a bad thing when it comes to audio setups. Most people want to take their purchase out of a box, plug it in, and have it work. That's what Sonos does well.

Did not like this, ended up returning. It wants to use all the sonos software so unless you already have Sonos you will get annoyed that it won't just pair to you phone by the pool. Took it on a trip to Mexico and never even got it to work because I did not want k go through a long setup process.

They both can be apart of Sonia network, one has google/Alexa capabilities, the other doesn't.

The SL versions of Sonos speakers do not have a microphone so they have no voice assistant capabilities. Better for user privacy if that's your gig.

Thank you but irrespective of that I can chose the SL speakers location and they can all be part of Sonos network inside the house if needed correct ? It's not like SL won't work with gen 2 sonos one ??

Yes they will all work together, the microphone is literally the only difference.
