FWIW, if you're using it for pet food, it's best to leave the food in the bag and set bag and all into the container. Dumping the kibble into the container will eventually leave a residue in the container that can become rancid, especially for the foods that are coated with oils as a preservative. Plus you'll have the kibble bag with production info if there happens to be a recall.

He had figured out how to open it, the latch doesn't snap shut or anything, it just kind of latches, and he had been able to push it open and climb inside. Once he got in, the lid had shut and gone over the latch, making it so he couldn't get out. I don't know how long he had been in there, but he had passed out and I thought he was dead. He ended up being ok but if I hadn't noticed for a few more minutes the outcome may have been different.
If you have curious cats, just keep that in mind.

Used that for one of these storage containers and several toys and large scratchers for our new big boy kitty we just adopted on Tuesday - the slimmer ones are just too small.
....and I second the comment about leaving the food in the bag
If you put something heavy into it (40lb bag of dog food, 50lb bag of rice, your kid brother) those casters will snap off if you roll it around.
