Probably cheaper than the cheapest mobo you can game with. I'd jump on it if there were cheap lga1700 mobos to pair with this.

Don't bother trying to get it off Best Buy's main site! Ebay says it's almost out but mine processed just fine with a estimated arrival of the 12th. This had to have been a price screw up, which is good for me, if I can't find a cheap enough motherboard for it I'm just gonna sell it for $90-$100

I have had no problems with ASRock boards and they seem to be a bit cheaper than the other brands. And I think going to a DDR5 board is not worth it. So maybe this for $115 without WiFi (but easy to add m.2 WiFi later...)

Looks nice, two Gen4 m.2 storage slots plus the m.2 Wifi slot, 2.5 gig ethernet, 4 RAM slots. Unfortunately doesn't have any Gen 2 USB ports (10 gbps), all are Gen 1 (5 gbps).

With these processors, is it just a matter of popping the old one from an old desktop (like 10 years ago) and putting in a new one (this one)? Done or do I need to do other things as well? Old computer works, but by today's standard it is slow.
