Or do it properly with much more durable 2k automotive paint for like $30.
This is the way. There's some really absolutely sick stuff out there called "rattle bomb" paint that mimmicks old school motorcycle paint and comes in a can. A couple layers of that and a really nice 2k clear and you have actual car quality paint.
These covers are a waste of money BECAUSE when we bought Atomic Heart the game overheated our PS5 frequently, but buying a faceplate with VENTS on it from amazon stopped our ps5 from overheating! Upvote this to help others. Buy a vented faceplate instead
Upvote begging is sad and these are officially from Sony and not some third party seller on Amazon that burnt you.
There's better cases available on Amazon. I got a set that has vents for the fans.
The PS5 is designed to push air out at its vents. That way cooling reaches all of its vital parts. If you have vents all over, this defeats that design. Better to stick with the stock venting.
Just get a 3rd party one. I bought one first day I had mine and bought a silver PS logo sticker from Etsy to go in the top corner where the engraving is for the first party ones. Looks great.
If you're worried about cooling, I printed a case extension with a noctua fan mount that pulls a lot of air (with the SSD cover off too of course), that doesn't look amazing, but it works stupendously.
I forget where I got it, but I'd recommend it if you are concerned with heat management.
Sony should have done this from the beginning.
