FYI: The unit have a stuttering issue that's tough to fix.

It's early-mid 00s cell phone styling all over again.

I have the GPD Win 3 and do have to say it is much better than the steam deck in so many ways. Sliding keyboard, egpu support, 1TB nvme storage, native Windows...

I think the I/o specs in the OP are wrong. No way this handheld has that many USB ports! That must be the specs with the official docking station

I for one am really glad to see the steam deck competition. I'm going to stick with the steam deck until there's some solid long term reviews on some of these. I like the steam OS but playing games outside of that ecosystem can be kind of a PIA.

BEWARE: Geekbuying censors negative reviews and are dishonest in their communications. They censored my 4 star review and opened a ticket feigning to "help me", but the review was very specific and explained the issue and how to resolve it and there was no call for help.
When you speak with Geekbuying, they selectively ignore what you write, and respond with something completely unrelated. Very frustrating, it is almost like talking with robots who live in fairy tale make believe world.

I hate when websites do this. It's so dishonest and makes me really not want to support any company that does this

GPD Win have been in the game much longer than Steam. There are a lot of better design choice compared to the Steam Deck especially when running on Windows. The Steam Deck needs more refinement. It took me a while and lots of research to get the Steam Deck working the way I want.
Needs more refinement? In what ways? (Genuine question)
I own one and you sign in to steam and play the games. Or you add heroic or lutris and sign in to where your games are and play.

i have a steam deck But it's so heavy that it hurts my wrist. Think about this case and decide whether to buy it or not.
Because of this burden, I am playing the game with a controller connected. You'll understand why people prefer Nintendo
Sounds like you need a gym membership more than another console, spaghetti arms.

It's not so much about strength. The weight and how you hold these handhelds makes for some pretty uncomfortable gaming sessions. Truthfully I am not at all concerned with the battery life in these consoles, because I could never comfortably play one one for more than an hour. My hands start to go numb.

I realize this is more portable than a laptop, but I can't see why anyone would choose this over a laptop.
