Product Name: | MSI RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X 8G OCV1 LHR Overview |
Product Description: | Based on the Ampere architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 1080p at high frame rates as well as 1440p gaming, the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X OCV1 LHR LHR Graphics Card brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation. This graphics card is the LHR (Lite Hash Rate) version and delivers an estimated ETH Hash Rate. The value of the Hash Rate may vary depending on your PC hardware specifications, quality of your internet connection, and/or other factors. The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 60 fps, 4K at 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 3060 Ti is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 4864 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs. For cooling, MSI implemented dual TORX 3.0 fans, which maximize downwards airflow and air dispersion to the heat sink below them. |

Think of your grandpa, or baseball, if you want to hold it a little longer.
enjoy it while you have it
Saving is more important to me. If you already have a decent GPU, even more so.
There is a SURPLUS of gpus.
resist and hold the line.
tell jensen to go suck it
$199 or no deal
Actually, there has been near zero demand for the 4060Ti, so this alone will lead to discounts soon.
You can't use previous years as an outlook because there was a supply shortage and crypto boom leading to stiff prices.
Now we have none of that.
So unless nvidia decides to cut supply, or TSM fab blows up, supply and demand will likely drop prices further.
Also, i think since Nvidia now has pricing power in AI chips in the current AI fad, they can afford to discount retail gpus further.

It's just not suited for anything other then 1080p.
The performance is really bad even when not memory limited at all, usually losing by a few frames to a 3060ti.
Would be silly to pay 500 for that and not to pay another 100 to jump up to a 4070.
You're better off looking at a 4070 for a real upgrade.
