    Unless you are doing ray tracing, you can probably find the 6700 XT for the same or less. Benchmarks suggest the 6750 XT is on par with the 4060 Ti in everything, but RT…and has 50% more VRAM. I haven't been looking anymore, but I hadn't seen the 6700 XT in comparisons with the 4060 Ti due to the "replacement" with the 6750 XT.

    I was all set for a 3060 and TH forum essentially talked me out of it. Very happy to far. RT in the games I have and wanted to try it with still exceed my 1080p/60 Hz monitor so it doesn't much matter if the 3060 (or Ti) would do better in RT.

    Very very very good deal. To put this RTX 3060 ti into context as it relates the the 4xxx series of nVidia GPU's, the RTX 4060 ti that has or will be released VERY soon. That new RTX 4060 ti has gotten literally the worst reviews of any GPU .... ever. Gamer's Nexus hates it, Kitguru hates it and many other YouTube channels hate it, those host as well as many influencers. The RTX 3060 ti trades blows performance wise with the RTX 4060 ti. Not even kidding and anyone can go and research this. This is a fantastic deal. The RTX 4060 ti only has a 128 bit memory buss and 8GB of video memory. The RTX 3060 Ti has a 256 bit memory bus, etc. I would absolutely buy one of these if possible.

    Another very good options is buying a used RTX 3070 for $299 buy it now off eBay which there is stock of right now as I type this. That's another great option. And worrying about getting a mined RTX 3070 is not a real danger as the RTX 3070's ran very cool and did not need high voltages. They are very safe to buy. And chances are, you would not get one besides.

    the socket you're on is quite old. If you don't wanna go the new route you can get a 3770k on eBay for 50$ and overclock it to 4.2ghz (they all do 4.2 easily). Could get more, you'll be in the 6700k territory at that point..the 3770k is the fastest cpu for your socket
