Wondering if we might see more price cuts, this site that tracks Tesla inventory seems to indicate that Model 3's are piling up - I imagine folks are hesitant to pull the trigger with the big new refresh rumored to be coming out this year.

Model 3 inventory is at an all time high. My service center keeps spamming me to check out the inventory.. Must be desperate for Q2 deliveries.

So does anyone find out that base Model 3 is qualify for the full $7500 credit if someone buy it today and take delivery in a week/month?
There are ones in inventory that are around 2-3.5k off MSRP if they're around you. Custom orders cost more and have higher fees too.

Ok, total inventory on the 3 is about 1100 cars.

Which is less than 2 days of US production of the car.

So again, not really "piling up" so much as existing at all.

Most other brands of cars have ~60 days of inventory sitting around.
Doing some basic analysis on these numbers and trends can lead to some interesting theories and conclusion. I don't think it's sensible to do a 1:1 comparison for Tesla with other major auto makers, though I would like a citation on that 60 days figure. Anyways, just take a look at those charts and trends and compare them to when Tesla announced price cuts over the past few months, focus on the Model Y price cuts and their effect, then compare that to the Model 3 price cuts and effects. Let me know if you see what I see.

Looks like they reduced the inventory discount by a couple hundred bucks. Cheapest one in my area now goes for $38,030, when it was $37,770 or around there yesterday? It does look like they are now including 3 months free supercharging.

Looks like prices went up $200 but they're throwing in free supercharging for 3 months. Just ordered thanks to this thread at the OP price, hope I get the supercharging too.

Tesla isn't like other car companies. They don't keep high inventory.
They don't have dealers.

Seeing the same. Bummer, I would have preferred the $200. 3 months supercharger is pretty useless for me.

Well it'll be a couple weeks before I'm planning to buy a car anyways, so I'll be waiting and watching if the price goes up or down any more.

I live in Colorado and here my plan Big Grin

7500 fed
5000 state (July 1)
5500 xcel rebate
6000 co trade in rebate clunker car for ev (starting august)

Model 3 for 14K, August can't come soon enough!!! This is truly a slick deal

Or if you wait till 2024 you can get federal and state credit up front instead with the other rebate!
