Ehhh... I'm OK getting a tried and true product instead of being a refresh early-adopter, especially if it saves me $5k.
There's no tried and true product when it comes to Tesla. But it's your money, spend however you deem appropriate.

All the Tesla dealerships have super bad reviews. Those folks there have no commissions on sales and wondering what game plans they are up to. Been back/forth with multiple reps about delivery and said all dealerships are busy delivering cars (with barely inventory showing!). SMH. LMFAO!
Custom orders don't show up as inventory bro

Thank you for your honesty! I'm not saying I'm not dumb, but yes, I did check on those things first. Insurance is going up $200/year, and I'm sticking with level 1 charging for now which is fine for my commute (especially combined with free Super Charging). I'm sure I'll make the plunge in the future to the level 2.
Level 1 is like 4-5 miles per hour Level 2 is like 25 miles per hour.

If you use 150 miles of range one day (keep in mind range used <> miles driven) it would take you 30 hours to recharge at home.

Supercharging all of the time is not good for your battery long term

Yeah - not ideal. Level 1 will be good for a few months and I imagine by end of year, if not sooner, I'll get the 2 installed.

Don't buy this. Literally complete refresh incoming. Even if they raise price 5k, you'll feel scammed if you buy now
thats how i feel. i think its worth getting all the new features even if its 2-3k higher.

Should show up instantly from what I've heard.

Check under specs and warranty at the bottom of the app

Instant. Last week, I picked up at 80% and I topped off later that night at a local supercharger. When I looked at my charging history it displayed "Free Supercharging" under the transaction.

Do you have it in your lootbox/rewards.
In my account it says, 100 free supercharge miles expire in Dec''23

Yes except:
  • It could be more than 2-3k
  • The tax credits for Model 3 could go away again at any moment
  • You'd be an early adopter for said new features, including steer-by-wire
There are pros and cons either way.
