Similar model at Walmart for $100 less. You lose a couple of things but it's worth saving the $100.

They look similar, but the BJs version has 60000 BTU burners vs 34000 on the WalMart version, and the shelves on the BJs version fold. The BJs version also comes with a soft cover to protect it from the elements.

No hood on the Walmart model just a hard cover.

Bought this at BJ's last weekend. Tried to post it on SlickDeals but had technical difficulties (I am old!) Had to join BJ's but found deal of only $20 for the year. Definitely better than the Walmart version and worth $100 if you price the additional items individually.

i can not recommend this Modell got this one, after 3 month use ( yes with rain over and under the porch ) its starting rusting litterly everywhere , its poorly made. also the griddle top bend if you use 2 different heat zones ( one hot for grilling, and other side to keep warm )

got now the sam sclub stainless steel one in use for 6 months ( everyday use ) no rust better to clean due its stainless steel instead of painted iron/steel like the Blackstone ones. no rust no griddle bent.

also 399 at sams club

The shelves on the Walmart BS at $297 fold down.

I didn't see any mention of this on the WalMart site.

WalMart site states it's 34000 BTU - is that wrong?

You lose the hood that you can actually close while cooking. That is a huge deal.

One image shows a folding shelf, and this manual confirms that the shelves fold:

While two images indicate 60000 BTU, I believe the description is correct or at least closer. The manual doesn't state the BTUs, but online discussions such as reddit seem to support the lower BTU.
